When printing self-adhesive labels in winter, you need to pay special attention to the following aspects:
Storage ambient temperature: the low temperature environment in winter may affect the stickiness of the self-adhesive material. Therefore, the storage environment temperature of the self-adhesive label should not be too low, usually should be controlled above 5 ~ 8°C. In particular, if the material such as the glue part is frostbitten, it may lead to the loss or loss of the stickiness and processing performance of the self-adhesive.
Processing environment temperature: In addition to the storage environment, the temperature of the processing environment is also very important. If the ambient temperature is too low, it may lead to a reduction in the viscosity of the material, resulting in poor printing, die cutting and waste strip marking, as well as strip flying and dropping problems during the processing, which will affect the smooth processing of the material.
Labeling ambient temperature: Any kind of self-adhesive material has a minimum labeling temperature. Below this temperature, the glue viscosity of the self-adhesive will be limited, which may lead to problems such as poor adhesion and warping of the self-adhesive label.
Self-adhesive label presetting treatment: If the transportation and storage conditions cannot meet the requirements, resulting in the self-adhesive label temperature is low, or even frostbite, the self-adhesive label material should be preset in the labeling environment for at least 24 hours, so that the temperature of the self-adhesive label material can rise, so as to restore its viscosity and processing performance.
In general, winter self-adhesive label printing needs to comprehensively consider the impact of environmental temperature on the performance of self-adhesive materials, and take appropriate measures to ensure the quality and effect of self-adhesive labels.
