UV glue, also known as shadow free glue or ultraviolet glue, is a single component UV visible light curing modified acrylic structural adhesive. UV is the abbreviation of Ultraviolet Rays. Ultraviolet (UV) is invisible to the naked eye, is a segment of electromagnetic radiation other than visible light, the wavelength is in the range of 10~400nm. It refers to a class of adhesive that must be cured by ultraviolet light, it can be used as a bonding agent, and can also be used as a adhesive for paints, coatings, ink, etc.

The principle of UV adhesive curing is that the photoinitiator (or photosensitizer) in the UV curable material absorbs ultraviolet light under the irradiation of ultraviolet light to produce active free radicals or cations, causing monomer polymerization, crosslinking and branching chemical reactions, so that the adhesive is converted from liquid to solid state in a few seconds.

Features are as follows:

Fast curing, controllable reaction; No solvent, no pollution; Suitable for automated operations.

The bonding material is wide, the bonding strength is high, the structure can be bonded, and the application is wide.

Excellent optical performance; The glue is colorless and transparent, the light transmittance after curing is > 90%, and there is no shadow glue.

Excellent weather resistance, no yellowing.

The disadvantage is that the adhesive must be transparent on one side, and equipment is required to cure when curing.

UV glue is initially fixed in 15S under ultraviolet lamp irradiation, and the bonding can be completed in 2030S, and the high strength can be reached after irradiation, which can meet the needs of automated production line rhythm.
