Recommended temperature: Ideally, the storage environment temperature of the self-adhesive label paper should be kept above 15 ° C, or stored according to the recommended storage temperature of the specific label.

Second, the processing environment temperature

Importance: The processing environment temperature is very important for the smooth processing of self-adhesive label paper. In low temperature environment, the viscosity of the material is reduced, which may lead to problems such as poor printing, die-cutting waste belt label, slitter fly label and drop label, which seriously affects the quality of the product.

Recommended measures: ensure that the processing environment temperature is within the appropriate range, for ordinary self-adhesive materials, it is recommended to use in the environment above 15℃; For specific formulations of materials, such as "transition/winter mix" materials, can be used in the environment of 10~20℃. At the same time, the processing environment temperature can be increased by increasing the temperature of the workshop and preheating the machine equipment.

Third, the labeling environment temperature

Meet the product requirements: the labeling environment temperature should meet the product requirements of self-adhesive label paper. Any kind of self-adhesive material has a minimum labeling temperature. Below this temperature, the glue viscosity of the self-adhesive will be limited, resulting in problems such as unstable label and warping.

Preheating treatment: in cold areas, if the label temperature is low due to poor transportation and storage conditions, the label should be preset in the labeling environment for more than 24 hours before labeling, so that the temperature rises and the viscosity is restored.

Iv. Treatment after labeling

Stickness recovery time: After labeling, the stickness of self-adhesive label paper usually takes a period of time (usually 24 hours) to gradually reach the highest value. Therefore, it is not appropriate to put the container or product that has just been labeled into the environment with large temperature differences immediately, so as not to affect the sticeness of the glue.

Avoid thermal expansion and cold contraction: film labels and containers may expand and shrink due to temperature changes, and paper labels may be deformed due to moisture or water loss, which are not conducive to the best labeling performance of self-adhesive labels.

V. Other matters needing attention

Labeling pressure control: When labeling, we should pay attention to control the labeling pressure, not only to ensure that the pressure sensitive characteristics of the self-adhesive label are satisfied, but also to discharge the air between the label and the surface to be pasted, so that the label is both firm and smooth.

Cleaning of the surface to be affixed: The cleanliness of the surface to be affixed is also an important factor to ensure the viscosity of the label and the smoothness after fitting. Before labeling, ensure that the surface is clean and free of stains.
