UV adhesive, also known as shadow free adhesive or ultraviolet adhesive, is a single-component UV visible light curing modified acrylic structural adhesive. It mainly consists of the following components:Prepolymers: 30~50%, including epoxy acrylate, polyurethane acrylate, polyether acrylate, polyester acrylate, acrylic resin and so on.
Acrylic monomer: 40~60%, including monofunctional (such as IBOA, IBOMA, HEMA, etc.), bifunctional (such as TPGDA, HDDA, DEGDA, NPGDA, etc.), trifunctional and multifunctional (such as TMPTA, PETA, etc.).
Photoinitiator: 1~6%, including 1173, 184, 907, benzophenone and so on.
Additives: 0.2-1%, can be added or not, used to improve the performance of the glue or reduce costs.
The application of UV adhesive is very wide, it can be used as a bonding agent, but also as a paint, paint, ink and other adhesive used. In terms of curing, UV adhesive can be initially fixed within 1 to 5 seconds under ultraviolet irradiation, and the bonding is completed within 20 to 30 seconds, and the light transmittance after curing exceeds 90%, with excellent optical properties. In addition, UV glue also has the following advantages:
A
Fast curing, controllable reaction, no solvent, no pollution, suitable for automatic operation.
Wide range of bonding materials, high bonding strength, can be used for structural bonding.
Excellent weather resistance, not easy to yellow.
Environmental protection and safety, no VOC volatiles, no pollution to the ambient air.
The application fields of UV glue include crafts, glass products, electronic and electrical industries, optical fields, medical supplies, etc. For example, in the electronic and electrical industry, UV adhesive is used for the coating and sealing of terminals, relays, capacitors and microswitches; In the field of optics, for the adhesion and protection of optical fibers; In the medical field, it is used for bonding hypodermic needles and syringes.
