BOPP (biaxially oriented polypropylene) synthetic label paper, as a special type of synthetic paper adhesive label material, requires special attention to its storage conditions to ensure that its performance and quality are not affected during storage. The following are the storage conditions for BOPP synthetic label paper:

1、 Temperature and humidity control

Temperature: The recommended storage condition for the warehouse is a temperature of 22 ± 2 ℃. Although BOPP material has a relatively small reaction to temperature changes, excessive temperature may lead to a decrease in adhesive performance or other problems. Meanwhile, if the storage temperature of the label in winter is lower than the lower labeling temperature of the adhesive, it is recommended to place the label in an environment of 18 ℃~22 ℃ 48 hours before use, which is beneficial for the recovery of the label adhesive and labeling.

Humidity: It is recommended to control the relative humidity within 50% ± 5%. Excessive humidity may cause label moisture regain, affecting adhesive properties and peel strength; If the humidity is too low, the label material may become dry and fragile.

2、 Packaging and Sealing

Outer packaging: BOPP synthetic label paper should have an outer packaging, and it is recommended to use plastic film for sealed packaging to prevent dust, moisture, and other pollutants from entering.

Re sealing: After each use, it should be sealed and packaged again to maintain its original storage environment. If the storage time reaches 1 year, it is necessary to check the adhesion and peel strength of the paper surface material before use.

3、 Storage method

Bottom pad: When storing labels, wooden boards or other products should be placed at the bottom to avoid direct contact with the ground and prevent label moisture regain.

Axial vertical storage: Labels should be stored axially vertically to prevent glue from penetrating, sticking, and overflowing.

Layered stacking: The packaged labels should be stacked in layers, with the roll center facing vertically upwards, and should not be too heavy or excessively squeezed.

4、 Security management

Fire resistance: Due to the fact that the base material and adhesive of BOPP synthetic label paper may be flammable, it is advisable not to stack the materials too concentrated in the warehouse. It is necessary to ensure smooth safety passages and equip corresponding fire-fighting equipment, such as fire extinguishers.

Static elimination: In a dry environment, BOPP synthetic label paper is prone to static electricity, so the temperature and humidity of the warehouse should be strictly controlled. Companies with conditions can also equip static elimination devices. If the purchased adhesive material contains plastic film packaging, do not damage the plastic film packaging during storage, which will effectively prevent static electricity induction.

In summary, the storage conditions for BOPP synthetic label paper need to comprehensively consider multiple aspects such as temperature, humidity, packaging and sealing, storage methods, and safety management. Following these storage conditions can ensure that BOPP synthetic label paper maintains its optimal performance and quality during storage.
