To detect and replace the print head of the TTO high-speed coding machine, the following steps need to be followed:
1、 Check if the print head is worn out
Print test page:
Ensure that the TTO high-speed coding machine is connected to the power supply and turned on.
Open the coding machine driver or related software.
Find the printing options for the test page, usually located under the "Maintenance" or "Tools" menu.
Execute the print test page operation.
Check the print quality on the test page. If there are spots, stripes, misaligned or incomplete lines and characters, it may be a sign of print head wear.
Observe the printing effect:
In daily use, pay attention to observing whether the printing effect gradually deteriorates, such as blurry handwriting and uneven colors, which may also be a manifestation of print head wear.
2、 Replace the print head
preparation:
Ensure that a new print head suitable for TTO high-speed coding machine has been purchased.
Cut off the power supply of the TTO high-speed coding machine to ensure safety.
Dismantling the old print head:
Remove the casing and print head cover of the TTO high-speed coding machine (which may require the use of tools such as a screwdriver).
Be careful to remove the print head limit mount.
Gently unplug the cable (be careful not to damage the cable due to limited space).
Remove the old print head.
Install a new print head:
Secure the new print head and install the upper limit mount.
Install the cable and ensure that the cable is properly installed.
As needed, it may also be necessary to set the resistance value. This usually requires finding the production line settings in the printer software and entering the resistance value of the new print head (usually in the last 4 digits of the print header code position).
Power on test:
Connect the power to the TTO high-speed coding machine.
Open the printer software and perform printing operations to test the performance of the new print head.
Calibrate print head:
If the TTO high-speed coding machine has an automatic calibration function for the print head, wait for it to automatically complete the calibration.
If manual calibration is required, follow the instructions in the printer manual.
Clean up the site:
Store or dispose of the dismantled old print heads and other components properly.
Clean the work area to ensure that there are no missing screws or other small components.
Please note that the above steps may vary depending on different brands and models of TTO high-speed coding machines. Therefore, before carrying out actual operations, it is recommended to consult the printer's user manual or contact the technical support department of the printer manufacturer for more specific guidance.
